The south Dublin based artist follows up on a very successful 2019 campaign with the release of his long-anticipated EP entitled "EAGER" after reaching the Irish viral charts last year with hits such as “What I do” and “Gyptian”. Smilez intends to prove he is one of the elite underground artists shedding light on the Irish urban underground scene soon to go mainstream. The Irish- Angolan rapper backed by his community of Tallaght is set to make waves around the country with this next release.

The EP includes 7 tracks plus a bonus record and was built on the extensive waviness in sound that Smilez has developed throughout the last 2 years under his label DBN music, as well as hardcore punchlines and very witty bars. RIRI is his most acclaimed release this year demonstrating his ability to deliver a mesmerising hook while assembling an avenger’s team namely Reggie, AC-130 and Larry Alabi who give multiple dimensions to the track. The lead single equally called Eager has Smilez go deep and personal about his state of mind, his upbringing and his dreams of success for his mother and sister as he delivers homage to city centre as a major part of youth culture in Dublin. BANDO, track 3 on the track list sees him introduce another promising artist from south Dublin in Laylow as they deliver a D-block Europe style collaborative head spin. Artist and label mate Slick Bullet equally drafted not only for production duty but to deliver heavy melodies in the Afrowave track VIDA LINDA where Smilez gives a nod to his native Angola with great ease and flows.
