CONGRATULATIONS "Cork City FC" FAI CUP Champions 2016

It wasn't easy but the boys in Green and White did it on the last minutes of extra time with Seani Maguire squeezing the ball into the left bottom corner of the post.

If you watched the match you will agree with us that it was "a long walk to VICTORY" for Cork City as they started the first half so badly. Dundalk dominated the whole first half and it was a bit scary to the fans who did not give up on the boys but cheered all the way through the match.

After analysing the first half John Caulfield must have seen the mistakes and he made sure they were fixed because when Cork City came out on the second half they were determined and started winning balls, creating chances and attacking.

However no goals were seen in 90 minutes which led to extra time. First 15 minutes was 50/50 , both teams wanted it as bad but it ended goal-less....AND OF COURSE Seani Maguire had to do it for Cork City in dying moments.
